2. What data we collect and how
When you submit the contact form on this website, the following personal data is collected: your name, email address, phone number (optional), and the content of your message. No data is collected passively — this site does not use analytics, tracking scripts, or cookies.
3. Purpose and legal basis
Your data is collected solely to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis for processing is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): you initiate the contact, and responding to it is the direct purpose of the data collected. Your data will not be used for marketing or passed to third parties for their own purposes.
4. Data processors
Your submitted data is transmitted to and stored in Notion via a backend API hosted on Railway. Both services act as data processors on my behalf. Railway operates under standard contractual clauses compliant with EU data protection law. Notion's data processing practices are governed by their Data Processing Addendum, available at notion.so/privacy.
5. Retention period
Your data is retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up communication. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing gonzalogomezdev@gmail.com, and it will be removed within 30 days.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data held about you; have inaccurate data corrected; request erasure of your data; restrict or object to processing; and receive your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact gonzalogomezdev@gmail.com.
7. Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (DPC), the supervisory authority in Ireland. You can reach them at dataprotection.ie or by post at 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28, Ireland.
8. Automated decision-making
No automated decision-making or profiling takes place in connection with the data you submit through this website.
